about us

We have been offering the highest standards of care, education and early years training since 1931. We offer ‘outstanding’ care and education for children from 2 months to 5 years of age in our nursery. We also provide high quality early years training for both our trainees and qualified nursery staff members, which we believe is key in providing the best possible care and education for children. Our specialised buildings and large well equipped gardens and grounds provide an excellent environment in which children can play, learn and develop and in which staff and trainees can work with the children and develop their skills as early years’ practitioners to the highest possible levels. We provide a warm, welcoming and stimulating environment in which children are cared for in homely family groups by fully qualified key people. We aim to ensure that each child develops at their own pace and to their full potential. We believe that young children learn best through play and interaction with other children and caring supportive adults. We work closely with parents to ensure that their child’s and their needs are met. Chiltern Nursery & Training College is a registered charity. We are registered and inspected by Ofsted and we were judged ‘outstanding’ in our last inspection on October 29th 2013’
